The living room is aptly named. As an open concept space with sight lines to the kitchen, it is very literally the place where we “live” most of the time. I wanted to complement the organic and neutral feel of the kitchen – while at the same time bringing some warmth and richness to the space. I did this by choosing a limited color palette of blues, camel, and sand tones, and by mixing in darker wood varieties to add depth and visual interest.
